After graduating from cosmetology school in 2007 I jumped at the opportunity to fuel my passion through continued education by completing apprenticeships and attending hair classes all over the world. From New York to Australia, I’ve had the opportunity to train under some of the best in the business.  If the training requires travel, count me in!

After spending a year in Melbourne, Australia as a color and editorial specialist, I settled back down in Denver, Colorado and started my wedding hairstyling business in 2013.

Through my journey, I found my niche in doing “pretty hair”.  With an obsession in creating the whole picture, I have mastered the art of customizing hair color to compliment particular hairstyles and updos using a method I like to call “pin & pigment”.  Pin & Pigment was born because I would have brides come into the salon for their bridal trial and I would see hair color that wasn’t flattering to the style we were trying to achieve when doing the trial run.  Although optional, I love to see my brides for a color session prior to their wedding date.

After several years of splitting my time between renting chairs in salons and traveling for weddings I saw a gap in the industry for an upscale booth rental salon in Denver for stylists that were doing work similar to myself.  In 2020, I decided to open my own salon, Mane Habit. Mane Habit’s name stemmed from my love of horses and the idea that you should love getting your hair done so much that it just becomes habit!

Now I split my time between my hair salon, Mane Habit, creating natural, dimensional, and glossy blondes, redheads, and brunettes and traveling to style hair for luxury weddings and events.

When I’m not behind the chair I love exploring other trades such as real estate (I became licensed in 2020, yay!) and interior decorating.  Most importantly, I love spending time with the ones I love whether it be at home or exploring a new city.
